"For Prize Contest"
What Burpee's Seeds Have Done for Me."
Burpee's Seeds have caused me to get a mental vision of the wonderful development of nature in plant life. Many know the advantages of purebred poultry and farm animals, and I am glad of the opportunity to say that Burpee's improved have helped to make my market garden a success this summer by giving me vegetables of better quality, bigger yield, more pleasure and greater profit.
For instance Burpee's Delicious Sweet Corn is all the name implies for home use, and a real pleasure to take to market. One customer remarked when told it was selling for for five cents more that the other kinds, "It does not matter about the price, just so I get the quality." After trying many kinds of bush beans, I have decided the Burpee's Brittle Wax is the "best of all."
Last spring I ordered seeds from seven seedsmen. I bought only a small quantity from you as I had never recieved one of your catalogues before. But Burpee's seeds stood the test. They germinated quickly and grew into strong, healthy plants that produced big yields of excellent quality.
My second order has arrived and nowhere have I gotten better quality or service.
