[] [[stamped]]AUG -7 1924[[\stamped]] [[circled]] For Prize Contest [[/circled]] For 30 years the reliability of Burpee's seeds has given me success with flowers and vegetables. House plants and hardy perrennials do as well for me from seed as annuals, my garden of perrennials is an everlasting joy, the plants are all present when the roll is called in spring, I have annuals too in countless numbers and varieties. The happiest hours of my life are those spent among my flowers, each of which is an inspiration for higher and better things in life. My vegetable garden yields a substantial sum in the amount saved on the grocery bill. By canning, drying, and storing vegetables for winter I have something from the garden every day in the year. Vegetables keep the family in good health thereby saving doctors' bills. Women try to make money at home with varying degrees of success, some get swindled by the "work at home" advertizer, others wear out their strength to save money at the bargain sales. A housewife's best bargain counter is a good vegetable garden, no other work at home pays better financially or in the satisfaction of having things fresh from one's own garden, Burpee's Seeds have done all this for me.
