Mrs. R. J. Simington
199 Virginia Avenue
Rochester, Penna.

Dear Madam:

We thank you for your good letter received on March 4 telling us of your success with Burpee's seeds.

If only more people in the crowded cities would plant little gardens of their own, what a lot of suffering would be relieved. And how much more pleasure and nourishment would be derived from good fresh vegetables and fruits than from those canned and stored. We are indeed glad to know that your family was made happy by getting close to nature and enjoying her bounties.

It always gives us pleasure to know that our customers are satisfied with our seeds and want others to try them. A copy of Burpee's Annual is going forward to you, and one is going forward to the address you gave us.

We sincerely trust that our seeds will always prove to be entirely satisfactory, and if at any time you should be disappointed with the results obtained we want you to let us know and we shall adjust the matter to your entire satisfaction according to our guarantee.

Very truly yours,

W. ATLEE BURPEE CO.

P.S. Concerning your request for bushes and trees, would recommend The Wm. H. Moon Company, Nurserymen, Morrisville, Penna. who we believe will give you very good service.
