D. - Black thick-bedded chert passing upward into thin-bedded, black sandy shale covering an interval of 136 paces = about 170 feet vertical Fusulinids 40' below top = 734b.

I estimate the so called biohermal zone at about 120' thick on the larger hill. In the upper part here on the south side of the road we found Ammonites, poor but common, in limestone masses. = 734c.

Fusulinids 734d taken about 50' below base of Word type rock about 1/2 mile east of preceding section.

733y - cherty fusulinids taken on south westernmost hill and on east side creek at west end of section.
