Transcription Notes:
Catechu is an extract from the acacia tree. Sapo alb is probably Saponaria officinalis alba (soapwort). The recurring symbol that looks like Nt with a line through it is clearly some mixing instruction. This is not an 'M' - compare with author's 'M' above in Myrrhae. The usual mix instruction, Fiat mistura, is abbreviated ft.m. or f.m. or ft. mist. mandc: I contend it is an "M" and used by Merril for "misce," Latin for mix. Added missing brackets.
