A glorious day, with no wind & much hot sun! Returned to Kilcarry Bridge, Co. CW. to look for more [[underlined]] Nomada argentata. On arrival at 12-15 am I took a [[female symbol]] & then a [[female symbol]] on path from R. Slaney to marsh on left bank of Glashaveigh River where [[female symbol]] was taken on 14th Aug. Then searched Scabious where [[underlined]] Andrena marginata [[/underlined]] [[2 female symbols]] were abundant, but no [[underlined]] Nomada [[/underlined]] seen. Afterwards none seen on path though searched for several times, but after lunch 2 [[2 female symbols]] were taken along top of field above [[insertion]] ^ main [[/insertion]] road W. of bridge at gap into second field. Two [[insertion]] [[circled]] fresh [[/circled]] [[/insertion]] [[underlined]] Andrena [[/underlined]] [[end page]] [[start page]] 200. 16-8-30 cont. Kilcarry, Co. CW, cont. [[underlined]] marginata [[/underlined]] seen at path where [[male symbol]] & [[female symbol]] taken, but none seen to arrive with pollen or to depart & [[strikethrough]] m [[/strikethrough]] none seen at top of field across road. Therefore I think there must be some other nesting site for [[underlined]] marginata [[/underlined]] & if this could be located the Nomada might be found in plenty, as the [[underlined]] Andrena [[/underlined]] is so abundant. Also as all the specimens of the Nomada are [[underlined]] so [[/underlined]] fresh, it seems likely that more would be seen a few days later. List of spp. seen or taken. [[underlined]] Bombus terrestris [[/underlined]] fresh [[female symbol]] in marsh. [[underlined]] Bombus [[/undelrined]] as before, but add [[underlined]] B. jonellus [[/underlined]] [[virgin female symbol]] on [[underlined]] Calluna [[/underlined]].
