ted to the Museum by Mr. J. W. Osborne,
and a fine large photogravure reproduction
of Stuart's portrait of Washington, known
as the Athenaeum head, by Messrs. A. W. Wilson & Co., of Boston. The thirty three prints, by Schonganer, Dürer, Goltzius, Rembrandt, Nanteuil, Wille, Bartolozzi, Walker, Mercurj, Gaillard, etc., which together with a number of technical specimens, were bought for exhibition at the World's Columbian Exposition, at a cost of about $1100.-, will, of course, add valuable material to the collections of the Section of Graphic Arts, in spite of the fact, that most of the technical specimens were unfortunately ruined in transmission to Chicago. The list of accessions, by gift as well as by purchase, together with that of the temporary accessions (loans for the World's Columbian Exposition) is submitted herewith.
