We have men getting out the Rock at both places -

The 3 New ^[[insertion]] Christ [[/insertion]] Jigs at Vulcan 2 stove & 1 nut, are doing good work - Have replaced about 10 pickers, averaging about $8. per day, and the [[strikeout]]work [[/strikeout]] preparation now is by far better -

In 2nd West Skidmore at Vulcan there is a great deal of gas - Fire Boss finds it there every morning -

Powell has been at home sick since Tuesday -

Mr. Jones has issued orders to his Mine Foremen that they must be at work every day, whether the Colliery is working or not -  Buck Mtn's foremen have been taking it easy on some days the Collieries have not been working - Hence the order -
