Pleasant all day - Patches of snow cover the ground - This was a "spring" morning -

Both Collieries idle - squads working inside and out general repairing -

Everything quiet -

Mr. Jones taking up the matter of unclaimed wages and curtailing work at the collieries while collieries are idle, as much as possible -

Mr Delano left Mauch Chunk yesterday afternoon for home -

We have men here cleaning out the old Carpenter shop, Mr Jones intends to convert this building into a lumber house, where all the shingles etc, can be stocked, and delivered to any of our collieries by our own teams, - It is much cheaper to buy in a car load of shingles, etc, and deliver them with our teams; than to buy in small lots -
