Pleasant this morning - Rained a little last evening - Threatening rain now and again this PM - Did rain a little -

Both Collieries worked 9 hours - Buck Mtn hoisted 370 Coal & Vulcan 402 Coal -

Vulcan had 7 3/4 cars nut and 2 cars stove condemned to-day -

Mr. Jones went inside at Buck Mountain today -

The gray poney Mr. Delano bought of Dan Thomas of [[strikethrough]] at [[/strikethrough]] of Morea, we have here in our stable awaiting [[strikethrough]] for [[/strikethrough]] shipping directions - Mr. Jones tried him in carriage, and under the saddle, and found him alright -

Carpenters are still working at old shop roof.

Threatening weather all day - Rained a little - Rained a little last evening -

Both Collieries worked 5 hours - Was not necessary to work all day, on account of our very small car allotment -

Run through 11 1/2 cars condemned coal at Vulcan, 2 Stove & 7 1/2 Nut - The coal had to be run through quickly yesterday, in order to take all that was being sent up - 402 cars coal 9 hours -

We are pushing the work of timbering in the 3rd East at Buck Mountain, where we have the squeeze - This squeeze prevents several sets of miners from working, and very little coal is being brought out of that gangway -
