Beautiful day-

Both Collieries started up this morning - Vulcan hoisted 234 coal and BMtn 230 coal 3 Rock this forenoon - Worked ten hours each - Vulcan's total hoist was 450 cars coal and B Mtn's 468 coal and - Rock. Shipped 249 Vulcan + 200 from BMtn [[superscript]] 1 [[/superscript]] /4 RR Cars Best day total ever-
Received word this AM from Delano, by phone, saying that [[quotation mark]] they (the LVRR Co.) would run cars Wednesday Thursday and Friday" - The programme was to run cars on Wednesday and Thursday only and we we were going to try to load all our week's allotment by working today long enough to have coal sufficient - but as these [[strikethrough]] car [[/strikethrough]] days cars will be received we will have to work tomorrow at Both Collieries - The L.V. people may change this programme yet as it is a constant countermanding and a changing of day that cars [[strikethrough]] be [[/strikethrough]] will be run -

Coal was taken out of here (New Boston) this morning; also 2 cars brick for BMtn

Both Collieries worked 9 hours - Because we had enough coal to load cars easily-
Everything running smooth today

Buck Mtn hoisted 390 in 9 hours (coal)
