Both Collieries idle - Railroad Company not running Cars - Will run cars tomorrow - 

Squads of men working - general repairs - At Buck Mountain we are pushing the work of laying the Air Pipe Line in the mines - Have had men working Sundays - 

Everything quiet - 

Mr Jones went down to Pottsville this morning, where he met Mr. Farquhar, by appointment - Drove to some coal lands to have a view of the country, etc.

3 Cars (12/4) of Stove Coal were condemned yesterday, on account of slate, at Vulcan -

Received a two seat and a one seat carriage last evening from New York. Received a blue print frame from New York on Tuesday - Mr Delano bought these for New Boston - 

We are painting our houses at Buck Mountain wh. was before reported - Are also painting stable at Vulcan and patching the roof -
