Both Collieries worked 10 hours - 

Very short of wash water at Vulcan - Only had [[line indicating previous two words are to be reversed in order]] 22 cars loaded at 5.30 Pm - Using same over second time - Loaders worked until 8 oclock and did not get them all loaded - 

Mr. Jones, of the Repanno Chemical Co, called this morning with Mr. Muir - Mr Jones recently was in South Africa, diamond diggings, and had a fair sized diamond with him, uncut -

Brass connection between universal joint and charging check valve on tank of #[[blank space]] Air Locomotive lift at B Mtn Colliery, split through this Pm. In order to run this plant with [[strikethrough]] aper [[/strikethrough]] temporary repairs, had to run with low pressure - 

Ordered an Artesian Well Pump for the Vulcan B Mtn Colliery hole - 

Cars are scarce -
