Both Colleries worked 5 hours-

Run through 6 cars condensed coal at Vulcan this [[underlined]] evening [[/underlined]] - 1 broken 3 stove [[ampersand symbol]] 2 Nut -

Breaker quit at 12 oclock and we retained a number of men to run this coal through.  Make requisition to Delano about 11 oclock for air engine to pull up the con coal so that we would be able to start after lunch time.   We held the run until 4.20 Pm before Delano sent an engine in, although 2 engines visited the Colliery between 12 and 2 oclock - One came in with empty cars and went out before we could hail them - The 2 [[superscript]] nd [[/superscript]] Engine came in, Mr. Glenn with it, at 2 oclock - Took out 8 loaded cars, Glenn said - had no time to pull up that coal - This is the way the L.V. people at Delano treats its Collieries. the Individuals -

Mr. Jones gave Geo Young permission to raise the price per car of breast miners in the bottom split E Vein, east side, 10[[cent symbol]] per car, and where vein is not in its normal condition - Also, to raise the price per car in the Seven Foot Vein from 1.20 to 1.25 and if this does not meet the requirements he may raise it to 1.30- Over phone Mr. Jones at N.B. Geo Young at Vulcan; yesterday after dinner - 

Carpenters at Buck Mountain are repairing dump chute BMtn Breaker - to-day - Head frame is to be strengthened also -
