Both Collieries worked 8 hours -

Condemned coal at Vulcan, 9 cars nut, 1 stove and 1 Pea, which were condemned Thursday & Friday,
will be run through tomorrow -

The inlet valve on the 3rd air cylinder, leaked today at Buck Mountain; [[strikethrough]] just [[/strikethrough]] put a new valve in - to replace one that leaked - delayed hoisting [[strikethrough]] cons [[/strikethrough]] somewhat -
First trouble we have had with the Compressor -


Inside Foreman, H S Powell, at Buck Mountain, was discharged to-day - neglect of work -

General repairing going on at each Colliery -

John Motske was burnt with gas yesterday PM at Buck Mountain Colliery. He works a breast in the 2nd West B. Gangway - Fired a shot, and then loaded a car - Went back to the face with naked lamp and found gas - not seriously burned - merely a singeing - did not report to Inspector Powell said not necessary -
