exhibition in the Hall of Graphic Arts, and eleven (Nos. 1005, 1134, 1434, 4691, 4970, 5229, 5365, 5366, 5388, 5392, 5425) have been lent to the Secretary, who has had them framed, to be used as decorations in the Smithsonian Building.

A rough ms. catalogue has been prepared of all the specimens on exhibition, arranged in the order of the cases in which they are displayed.
There has also been prepared a card catalogue of the whole collection, which has been roughly arranged in technical divisions, preliminarily to a more systematic arrangement as soon as time will permit.
