For Prize Contest

W. Atlee Burpee Co.
Philadelphia Pa.

Dear Sirs

Before planting Burpee's seeds I always had a good garden. This year I planted Burpees seeds and have a better garden. Plenty of lettuce radishes and spinach in May. Peas June 11. Cauliflower June 20. Carrots and beets June 25th. July 4th I harvested lettuce, radishes, beets, carrots, peas, cabbage, cauliflower, swiss chard. The next day I had string beans. July 20 green peppers and cucumbers. Crookneck squash July 18. All this near Chicago in our uncertain climate. Its my prize garden of all time and I've won championships at fairs for years.
