I have lived on a farm all my life and like most women I thoroughly enjoy flowers as well as a good vegetable garden. We have a fine display of hardy plants and shrubs on our lawn, but last spring I decided to try some annuals in the garden, so ordered "Burpee's tested seeds," my favorites being phlox, pansies, asters, salvia, dahlias and cannas. They have all made a wonderful growth. The phlox is a mass of lovely bloom, while the pansies growing in partial shade are a continual delight, and asters, cannas, and dahlias are now coming into bloom.
