FOR PRIZE CONTEST

Oakridge, Oregon, P. O. Box 58
Aug. 2, I925.

W. Atlee Burpee Co.
Philadelphia, Pa.

Dear sir;

Here in this woodland town of Oakridge the personality of the pansy has shone in unusual charm this last spring, thanks to Burpee's seeds.

The time of planting was August and the flowers in bloom early in March. "Burpee's Blend" supplied flowers of great size and splendid color, "Orchard Flowered" variety of pastel tints and odd shades, and "Royal Purple" the dark tones. The bed was gorgeous and yielded an abundance of big blossoms with long stems.

Our neighborhood wasn't dependent on bulbs for its early bloom this year.

Respectfully yours,

J. A. CULLYFORD
