W. Atlee Burpee & Co. For Prize Contest.

Gentlemen - I sent to you early this spring for flower seed. And planted my flower garden seed in March, during a warm spell of weather & after planting we had snow and very cold weather, for nearly a month. I thought the garden would be a faleure, but regardless of all this, it is a success in every way. It looks as if every seed was fertile.
This is a summer resort, many people are here from everywhere. They stop in their cars and admire this garden, so I thought it proper to write to you.
The enclosed photographs show the results of your seeds.
