I want to tell you about my garden. Considering the kind of season we have had, my garden has done magnificently. May was cold and rainy, and crops were gotten in late. June was cold and rainy and seeds grew slowly. July was hot and rainy and so was August up till the 9th. Since the 9th we have had beautiful weather. Corn is late, but growing splendidly. But my cucumbers, citron, squashes, beans, beets, carrots, turnips, cauliflower, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, endive, spinach, parsley, and cress have done themselves proud. My usual experience -- for 34 years -- with Burpee's Seeds.
