PRIZE CONTEST FOR 1925 NO. 16

W. Atlee Burpee Co.,
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Gentlemen:-
I use Burpee's seed, find them the best. Plant in long rows, cultivate often. On about fifty square feet of ground I've raised all that a family of three could eat, had plenty for winter, and sold some. For instance sold in 1922, $50.30, 1923, $36.76, 1924 $41.69. Had wonderful success with Early Neapolitan Peppers, Enkhuizen Glory, Sunnybrook and King of the Garden Lima Beans, also Stone Tomatoes, Kentucky Wonder and Green Pod Bush Beans.

To sit in an easy chair with a book will not do, interest - constant work is absolutely necessary for success.

From one who loves the garden.
