Just a few lines telling of what I think of the "Burpee" Seed's.

Well just 6 year's ago that I started to make a Garden of my own. Well the first year I brought my seeds in my home town. And I had very poor luck. But next door Mr. J. S. Anderson always keep your seed's and he told me to try Burpee seed's. So the next year I order all my seed from Burpee. And I don't wont no other seeds from now on. I have a hole lot now 60 x 150. And last spring when I planted it was all quake grass. I had to go on my hand and knee to fine my Plants. But I clean it out. And there was no other garden in manitowoc that look like it. And it's on the lake drive. And all the people that drive by stop to look at it. first I had along the lot 8 rows of potatoes. Then 4 rows Burpee Golden B. corn. Then 2 row Onions. then 1 row Carrots, 1/2 Beans 1/2 red Beets. 2 rows cu. 1/4 Salue 1/4 cauliflower 1/2 Kohl Rabi Then 4. 3/4 rows of Danish. B. head cabbage. These rows all were 2 ft apart: Then at the end of the 4. 3/4 rows, I put my peas. 10 in apart: and watermelons 18 in apart. You should of seen that garden from the road. all rows face the street. I had my cabbage to the fair took first place. and I had 400 heads of cabbage. That weight as high as 15 pds. all the people stop hear and got corn. I sold Doz & Doz. I took everything out by Bushel Basken in the fall. 28 Bushel of Potatoes. and all the cabbage that I sold. It was a Dandy.
