Down the garden I walk each day,
and view the flowers along the way.
To me they seem to speak of things,
Bees and Butterflys silvery wings,
The breeze in the Cannas sing to me,
Of their glorious blossoms, I soon shall see,
Yellow, and crimson, red and white
Those stately Cannas a wonderous sight.
Stocks, all color, sweetness, and strength
Pansies, schenas, the gardens lenght.,
But sweetest of all the the mignonette
Calla and heliotrope lest I forget,
So many beautiful flowers I see,
The seed all grown by [[underline]] A. Burpee [[/underline]]
Eeach year I buy a few seed more,
To add new, beauty to our garden lore,
Calendulas of richest gold.
Zennias, + Marigolds, never old,
There are Dahlia flowered, now I'm told,
There are the Lillies, stately and tall
Really I can not mention all.
Go get good seed the very best that grow.
And now to you my tale I've told
But [[underline]] Burpees seed [[/underline]] they are pure as gold
