For prize contest.

W. Atlee Burpee Company;
Philadelphia, Pa.

Gentlemen:-

I am delighted with results from my Burpee's garden. Have had all the vegetables we needed for home use and have sold quite a lot to my neighbors.

The plants from Burpee's seeds are healthy and prolific bearers. Even in adverse weather my garden grew and flourished.

"Burpee's Iceberg" lettuce deserves special mention for it has no equal in crispness and longevity. Also your "Southport White Globe" onions are delicious, because of their sweet, juicy, mild flavor. In fact all the seeds I have ordered from Burpee's-both vegetable and floral- are all and more than your catalogue claims for them.

Wishing you success I am

Yours very truly
