FOR PRIZE CONTEST

W. Atlee Burpee Co.,
Philadelphia, Pa.

Gentlemen;

My seeds all germinated well and this was a bad spring in this section. All of my neighbors were complaining their seeds ordered of other houses did not come up because it was so dry.

The colors of the mixtures were very fine, the best I have seen any where.

The annual larkspur are beautiful. The carmine is an especially fine color.

My bed of verbenas is a mass of color and their fragrance perfumes the whole garden.

Every flower has been exactly as you described in your catalogue, and I am well pleased with the results of planting BURPEE'S SEEDS.

Very truly yours,
