The Italian Clover has set seed well. I am going to try it through the winter here, I think it will make a splendid cover crop for orchards &c. Also as a soil builder. I am getting my firm interested in it, & if they take it up they will be good customers & their name would be good all over the Province.
As soon as I can I will send along a photo of the splendid show of your Whole Salad Tomatoe grown outside. I am enclosing a few verses describing my first venture with your seeds 20 years ago on the Praries; I had some collections of flowers & vegetables, & all new of my success in raising stuff, well I sold them all so rapidly I wished there had been 10 times as many.
Thanking you for all past courtesies.
I am
Yours faithfully
