^[] [[stamp]] SEP 15 1925 [[/stamp]] Sept 13 - 1925 [[underlined]] Prize Contest [[/underlined]] Gentlemen:- For Health, Pleasure, Profit, prizes plant Burpee's the Seeds that Grow. Five blue ribbons - nine Red and one white were captured at our local Flower & Vegetable show last night against a large field this being our very first exhibit. First Prizes were awarded on Mammoth Pumpkin, Fordhook Famous Cucumber, Purple Beauty Asters, [[?rksome]], Gladiolus. We received many fine compliments from the judges. All were raised on land not been used for several years. We hope to do better next year and believe us it will be Burpee that will do it. [[?]] yield has been marvelous.
