Gentlemen

I am directed by the Asst. Comr. to refer to you the cases of Anna Holafield and Roberta Wunifrey, who desire to be supplied with food.  the Asst. Comr. does not consider himself authorized to order the issue of rations to the destitute whites, under existing orders, and desires to be informed if no provision has been made or can be made by the proper Civil Authorities, for the relief of the poor of this County.
