I have the honor to call your attention to the enclosed copy of the 15" Sec. of the New Freedmens Bureau Bill, by which you will see it is necessary for all officers, agents and employees of the Bureau to take the Oath prescribed in the 1" Section of the Original Bill.  [[Footnote 1]]  As all officers now on duty in the State have already taken the oath, it will be unnecessary for them to take it again, but each employee clerk or agent now on duty in your District will be required at once to sign it in duplicate, & return both copies to your office, or vacate his situation.  Copies of the required oath are herewith forwarded.  One of the two copies signed by the clerks, employees or agents, will be forwarded to these Hd. Qrs. for file.
