Gen'l Howard, approved, and a request now comes from Washington, to know the specific number of men women and children, for whom transportation is desired.  It should also be stated how many of the children are under twelve years.  Please forward the desired statement to these Head Qrs. at once.

Enclosed please find transportation order for Margaret Mayo and two children from Warrenton N.C. to New Bern N.C.  The Asst. Commissioner desires you to cause the transportation to be forwarded to Margaret Mayo, so that she may rejoin her husband at New Bern.

Gentlemen

Your letter of the 11th was received in due time and at once referred to the Quartermaster, in whose hands the vouchers or liens were placed.  Owing to some difficulty in finding them, no report was received until this morning

[[?Hose Arcky]] owes Government for 400 lbs of hard bread and 200 lbs of mess pork, amounting to about $80. or $90.
