In compliance with instructions of your telegram of 3rd inst I have the honor to herewith transmit copy of the report of a Board of Officers in case of R. F. Hunter late Agent of this Bureau

I am directed by the Acting Asst Comr to inform you that 1200 bushels of corn the donation of the citizens of Philadelphia have been shipped to you to be delivered to the parties herein after named for distribution in Stanley & Anson Counties as follows -
700 bushels for Stanley Co
500 bushels for Anson Co
It will be distributed under the supervision of Messrs D.A.G. Palmer & Danl Freeman for Stanley Co and Messrs W. McFarland and S.S. Polk for Anson Co to whom you will please deliver it when requested the State paying the expenses after leaving your hands

It is the donation of the citizens of Philadelphia and is intended for distribution in Union County under the supervision of Mess Darling Brown and H.M. Houston to whom you will please deliver it on application.

I am directed by the Acting Asst Comr to inform you that 500 bushels of corn the donation of the citizens of Philadelphia have been shipped to Col J.R. Edie Salisbury for distribution in Anson Co under the joint supervision of yourself and Mr Polk in same manner as that received from New York except that receipts show it as from Philadelphia. Col Edie will deliver on your application
