[[underline]] itorius [[/underline]]. NODWA.

Then hear several Whitestart-like Songs. Also NODWA. (I think that these [[underline]] are [[/underline]] uttered by Whitestart itself.) Shut up.

6:04. There is something around here which sounds very much like [[underline]] B. nigrocristatus [[/underline]].

[[margin in red]] Cy [[/margin]]
6:16. Hear first Cy Song. Uphill. NODWA. Usual form : Intro - twitter - "seeeeeeeeee" or "taseeeeeeee" notes. Bird shuts up.

Then I hear a few more brief Whitestart-like Songs downhill. Also NODWA

[[margin in red]] Thalass Gen [[/margin]]
6:30. See a [[underline]] Colibri [[/underline]] (apparently Thalass) feeding on small, tubular dark purple flowers. Looking at the flowers later, I see that they have holes in them. Look like the work of a small [[underline]] Diglossa [[/underline]]. But the hummingbird certainly was [[underline]] not [[/underline]] using these holes.

6:45. Still hearing occasional bursts Whitestart-like Songs downhill. All NODWA. All sound typically Whitestart.

[[margin in red]] Cy [[/margin]]
Then more Cy Song uphill. NODWA.

Sun beginning to reach this area 6:55 am. Stimulating an increase in general bird noise! But only very briefly.

[[margin in red]] Brun? [[/margin]]
6:58. See a single ^[[one check mark above]] Diglossa, probably juv. Brun, feeding on pink tubular flowers 1 - 2 ft up low scrub. Silent and alone. A few seconds later, hear Brun-like R-Twitter and R - [[encircled]] Zaza-twitter [[/encircled]] patterns in neighborhood.

[[margin in red]] Brun Scan Thalass [[/margin]]
NOTE: Both Scan and Thalass seem to [[underline]] ignore [[/underline]] the species of pink flower just visited by the Diglossa.

7:02. See juv. ^[[one check mark above]] Diglossa land in tree, 6 ft up. Does Wing-Q, apparently in H Posture. Then ^[[one check mark above]] parent lands beside it, feeds it. Then
