up in USTF tree. Also hear what sounds like Furmariid [[checkmark]]near by. And catch brief glimpse preserved fly catcher. This [[underlined]]may be a flock. But, if so, it is very diffuse.

Stopping observations 10:50 am.

COMMENTS:

Obviously, cold windy weather does not [[underlined]]favor the formation of mixed flocks!!!

This morning's observations also would not suggest that, if large mixed flocks are not formed early in the morning, they will not be formed later in the day.

There seems to be very large variation in allogregariousness, from [[underlined]] day to day, here [[underlined]] Possibly more than in all or most other parts of the Andes.

Nevertheless, it seems quite obvious that the "index of gregariousness" for this area is "centered" on 84%. But today was a "bad day" for flocks. Yesterday, the [[underline]] index was 84+.
