6:30. Hear more apparent Myst song. Seems to be between A & B Myst areas. Again. No! I think these songs are being uttered by the local Whitestart! A ^[[1 check mark above]] single bird alone!

Can hear another Bl & ^[[1 check mark above]] Or. Stripe singing "DC"

6:35. Come across a little group of ^[[2 black check marks above]] 2 or 3 Basileuterus. Uttering lots of R's. In low scrub. Can't tell which species. Apparently alone.

^[[1 black check mark above]] Whitestart apparently joined by single ^[[1 black check mark above]] Firebelly.

See a single ^[[1 black check mark above]] Montane GMT alone in low scrub. Then see it is followed by ^[[1 black check mark above]] mate 20 ft behind.

The ^[[1 black check mark above]] Whitestart moves on. Apparently [[underlined]] not [[/underlined]] followed by the Firebelly. 6:42. (I can now confirm that the Myst-like songs [[underlined]] are [[/underlined]] uttered by the Whitestart.)

See ^[[2 black check marks above]] pair of Firebellies in tall tree. Very vocal. Lots of twitter. Sometimes preceded by series of bisyllabic notes (almost "ta-tsee"_ presumably related to "Ta-ãuh" Quito birds). Alone.

Then see single ^[[1 check mark above]] Montane GMT. In low scrub and on ground. Alone. Quite silent. (The other GMT's seen this morning were also silent. This seems to be a very quiet species.)

6:53. Things quieter now. Sun out and strong. No sign of B Myst or Carbo in tree where they were seen before.

6:55. Hear several more presumed Whitestarts singing. Their songs seem to differ from those of [[underlined]] Lafresuayer [[/underlined]] ssp in being essentially composed of triplets "Ta-tuh-huee ta-ta-huah....." etc.

7:00 am. Pair of ^[[2 black check marks above]] Basileuterus fly into tree where ^[[1 black check mark above]] Whitestart is singing. Probably same pair seen before. The tree was in their line of march. So possibly they weren't really joining Whitestart. In any case, they go straight on without pursuing. And Whitestart doesn't follow.
