of the group. From the sounds they were making, consisted of 2 ^[[2 black check marks above]] of the Bauleuterus that utter rattles, and 1 ^[[1 black check mark overhead]] Orange head. Definitely joined by a pair ^[[2 black check marks overhead]] of Ph & Orange Steepes.

The "black" crown of Bauleuterus XLI is not, I think, really dead black all over. Blackest at front. Top view of the bird's head more or less comme ca.

Come across big mixed flock just past KM 50 work. 7:10. Presumable partly or completely same mixed flock seen this area on previous days. Definitely identified 1^[[1 black check mark above]]Firebelly ^[[1 in circle above]], 2 ^[[2 black check marks above]]Bauleuterus ^[[ 2 in circle above]]XLI, 2 ^[[2 black check marks above]]Montane^[[2 in circle above]]GMT's. There [[underlined]]joined[[/underlined]] by all the others (including the Bauleuterus). Most of the time all members of the flock were 2 - 10 ft high in threes and bushes dense scrub.

Come across same flock, or part of same flock, further on a few minutes later. Now includes 1 Whitestart ^[[1 black check mark and numeral 6 in circle above]] which sings a lot, the Bauleuterus XLI still rattling frequently, and I don't know exactly what others. Whitestart makes long silent flight from tree to tree. Then the Bauleuterus XLI drift off in same direction, apparently following, but hopping from bush to bush.
