ed flock which may be the real 50 KM flock or part of it. Includes [[underlined]]3[[/underlined]] Black cheeks^[[3 black check marks and numeral 1 in circle above]]^[[Setti in red in left margin]], 1 ^[[1 black check mark above]] Whitestart ^[[2 in circle above]], 1 ^[[1 black check mark above]] Orange ^[[numeral 3 in circle above]] Head, 1 ^[1 black check mark above]] Settiey[[?]]^[[numeral 4 in circle above]], at least 1 ^[[1 black check mark and numeral 5 in circle above]][[underlined]]rufinucha[[/underlined]] and probably others. Also 1 White ^[[1 black check mark above]] bearded ^[[numeral 6 in circle above]]fly catcher like the one associated with mixed flocks in Colombia. Moving thru trees and bushes open second growth scrub, in general direction of 50 KM marker.

The Black cheeks seemed to be in the lead most of the time. Possibly just because they knew where they wanted to go, and kept moving there fairly steadily. It is my impression that any definite steady movement not involving distant flights, by any bird is apt to pull the whole of any of these mixed warbler flocks along with it. Not very noisy. Uttered some "Tut" CN's, also scolding notes, loud and harsh, when 2 Black cheeks came close together.

I see that the Black-cheek has a grayish crown patch. Therefore presumably a Bauleuterus.

Orange head definitely followed at least once. So did Settey[[?]]. Both quiet or silent.

The Whitestart sang a few times while associated with flock. Myst-like song.

I didn't have an awfully good view of the Whitestart; but it seemed to have so much black on cheeks that the yellow around the eye was reduced to little more than "Spectacles" Are there 2 species here???

When I first came across this flock, there was a Firebelly ^[[numeral 7 in circle above]] about 20 ft away. It went on in another direction, apparently ignoring the flock.

NOTE: The Settyey[[?]] here has a lot of blue on side of head. So that back appears to be divided into crown patch & cheek patch (presumably meeting in front of the eyes)
