lots of soft CN's. Also some PN's.

As far as I could tell, all the members of the flock, with the notable exception of the Orangehead-see below, stayed with the flock all the time after joining it.

The flock moved thru all types of the poor looking second growth scrub here. Both dense and not dense. The scrub here averages 4 - 6 ft high. A few small scattered trees here and there. 10 - 12 ft tall. Flock visited these trees too. As far as I could tell, all members of the flock visited all levels of scrub and trees. But the [[underlined]] rufinucha [[/underlined]] probably stayed relatively low more often than the other members. ^[[Sitti in red in left margin]]And the Whitestarts and the Sitticy probably came relatively high, on to the tops of trees and bushes, more frequently than the others.

For the first 10 minutes that I watched the flock, it made no progress in any definite direction. Birds just milled around in an apparently largely haphazard manner. Then the flock started off and moved steadily, and fairly rapidly, in one direction. I don't really know who started this last movement (possibly the Sitticys?????). During the first phase, the milling around, the flock gave the usual (here) impression of being composed of all followers and no leaders.

I was able to see a number of inter-specific reactions withing the flock quite clearly and definitely:
