in bush. Still apparently alone. Utters "freee sreee sreee sreeeee sreeeeee" Landing Call? Then feeds silently.

Really almost nothing visible today 6:45. Everything is keeping under cover and more or less quiet. Why?

Finally see Brun ^[[1 check mark above]] 6:45. Feeding in tree with pink flowers. Presumably bird whose territory overlaps Z CC. It was feeding in same tree day before yesterday. Absolutely silent. Alone.

A few more burst of the Whitestart-like song by the presumed conebell in distance. Bird invisible.

6:59. Again see an apparently single ^[[1 check mark above]] [[underlined]]rufinucha[[/underlined]] land with Landing Call. "Sreee sreee sreeee sreeeee ^[[jagged drawing diminishing as it goes further toward line in paper]]".

Pair of [[underlined]]Bathraupis [[/underlined]]^[[2 check marks above]] appear. Feeding in trees thick scrub. 10 - 15 ft above ground. Utter "Ta-zeee-zeee-zeee"s. [[underlined]] Alone[[/underlined]].

7:02. Hear lots of Bauleuterus-like R's in distance. Also burst of Whitestart-like "conebell" song.

[[margin in red]] Brun [[/margin]]
Single Firebelly ^[[1 check mark above]] flies by. Uttering PN's. Alone.

See single Brun alone.

Again another single Firebelly ^[[1 check mark above]] flies by. Alone.

Then see pair ^[[2 check marks above]] Firebellies in tree. Uttering "Seeeet"s. Then they are joined by a [[underlined]]3rd[[/underlined]] Firebelly. Lands 2 ft away. One or more birds utter more"Seeeet"s, plus 2 or 3 very [[underlined]] brief R's [[/underlined]]. Then pair flies in one direction, single bird in the opposite direction.

These birds were very close to where the [[underlined]]Bathraupis [[/underlined]]were feeding earlier. Interesting that they did not follow the latter.

See same pair of Firebellies feeding in scrub further down road. Still alone.

[[margin in red]] Brun [[/margin]]
See single ^[[1 check mark above]] Brun feeding on pink flowers. Alone. Utters a few song phr
