Then everything seems to quiet down quite rapidly.

Bl & Or Stripe is not on usual[[?]] exposed perch when I arrive 5:40. Hear about 3 Bl & Or Stripe DC Notes down hill. That is all.

Hear what may be Whitestart in distance 5:43. Usual Diglona-like song.

Single White throat Thrush singing.

Can hear Bl & Or Stripe R's 5:45. Same place where pair were seen & heard before. Not all R's have flourish. But when they do flourish is elaborate.

[[hand drawn zig-zag line straight for 4 inches]]whea whea [[ at top of line]][[hand drawn zig-zag line curved for 1 inch]] whea whea.

In most of these R's. in fact, there are [[underlined]]2[[/underlined]] flourishes. One terminal & subterminal!

All these R's sound as if they were being uttered by only one bird. Either that, [[underlined]] or [[/underlined]] the R's of 2 birds are correlated in a very rigid manner. It is possible that each each of the flourishes is being given by a different bird. Possible both uttering identical R-1 flourish patterns, but one bird is starting later than the other. This, in fact, what the performance sounds like when I get closer up!! 5:56.

Bird(s) apparently stationary during performance. But under cover.

[[underlined]] rufinucha [[/underlined]] singing usual[[?]] phrases 5:57.

Apparently single Bl & Or Stripe is not DC ing from usual exposed perch when I go back to his area 5:58. But there is a bird of this species presumable the same, DC ing down hill.

6:02. See single Montane GMT feeding exactly where seen two days ago. Utters occasional single or double "Treet" Notes. Quite loud.
