These CC's must have an enormous territory!

It might be notes that ^[[male symbol]] D'Orbiguy's and CC's appear to be exactly the same color gray in the field.

See 1 or 2 individuals new species of finch. Call it LII. [[underlined]]Color pattern is very diglossine[[/underlined]]! Medium blue-gray (quite blue) all over, except under tail, which is rufous. Whitish medium-sized bill. In scrub where I have seen both Bruns and CC's. But none around at the moment. 3:45.

D'Orbiguy's Finches are also [[underlined]]common [[/underlined]] in this scrub.

It is possible that the birds with which the CC's were associated were LII's, not D'Orbiguy's.

See a dark [[underlined]] Diglona[[/underlined]] fly by where I have never seen one before. Unfortunately can't identify it.

4:30 Mixed flock. Dense scrub & bamboo. At least 2 ^[[2 check marks above]] Basileuterus XLI, and 1 ^[[1 check mark above]] other larger darker bird. XLI's are uttering CN's and soft short R's.  

See what may be same flock further down road. At least 1 XLI and 1 darker bird.

5:12 p.m. See a pair of Whitestarts ^[[2 check marks above]] followed by a pair of [[underlined]] Altapetes ^[[2 check marks above]] rufinucha[[/underlined]]. The latter uttering CN's. Also 1 soft R as "Greeting"
