[[circled]] 96 [[/circled]] [[circled]] 133 [[/circled]] [[underlined]] Basileuterus [[/underlined]] of [[underlined]] luteoviridis [[/underlined]] - [[underlined]] nigrocristatus [[/underlined]] type. In any case, definitely alone. Now, 6:50, they seem to have become associated with several other birds. Other species, I think. Impossible to identify. Light very bad. I [[underlined]] think [[/underlined]] the birds uttering R's are Basileuterus-types. R's very loud, relatively low pitched. Actually, birds seem to be [[underlined]] B. nigrocristatus [[/underlined]]. Now apparently alone again. 6:55. See single [[underlined]] ^[[1 check mark above]] rufinucha [[/underlined]] and single ^[[1 check mark above]] Firebelly close together in tree. [[underlined]] rufinucha [[/underlined]] flies off. Firebelly f -> [[underlined]] rufinucha [[/underlined]]. A single montane cotinga, usual species, in same tree ignores the other birds and remains behind Some small chestnut breasted bird joins the [[underlined]] Basileuterus [[/underlined]], but then flies on again immediately. These [[underlined]] Basileuterus [[/underlined]]-types seem to be even noisier now than during my last trip. See a single ^[[1 check mark above]] Whitestart alone. Silent. In low scrub. Then see a pair of [[underlined]] ^[[2 check marks above]] rufinucha [[/underlined]] alone. Moving thru scrub 5 - 20 ft above ground. Come across group of at least ^[[3 check marks above]] 3 [[underlined]] Basileuterus [[/underlined]]. Possibly same birds seen before. One of them, at least, is definitely [[underlined]] nigrocristatus [[/underlined]]. Associated with them is one [[underlined]] ^[[1 check mark above]] rufinucha [[/underlined]]. Slight rain 7:10. Come across [[underlined]] B. ^[[2 check marks above]] nigrocristatus [[/underlined]] group again. [[underlined]] rufinucha [[/underlined]] seems to have gone; but the warblers are certainly being followed by a pair of ^[[2 check marks above]] furnariids. A rather small species with a conspicuous white cap. At least 2 of the warblers in this group are definitely [[underlined]] nigrocristatus [[/underlined]]. Presumably all are (if the 3rd individual is still with them __ which I am not sure) Still uttering lots of R's. Also something is uttering lots of hear
