This afternoon going to work in the botanical garden at La Paz. Arrive 3:50. Sunny & warm.

See a single thrush fly by. Looks large & brownish.

Then a brief burst of rain. Stops. But looks like more coming. 

See a single House Wren alone

See a single Orange-bill alone.

See single Carbo alone, in hedge. Quite silent. Definitely pure Carbo in appearance. 4:35 pm

See another thrush alone. Close up. Perched on hedge. Brownish, but fairly dark sooty brownish. Orange bill & legs. [[underlined]]Thin [[/underlined]]yellow eye ring.

A few seconds later see Carbo again same hedge. Again silent and alone.

5:12 pm. See another single House Wren alone.
See a single [[underlined]] bonariensis [[/underlined]] in flight. Alone

It is certainly obvious that this is not the breeding season here now. Also that there are no organized mixed flocks here now.

Couldn't get by the barrier at Unduavi. So waiting on the La Paz side. Pouring rain. Still quite dark at 6:30 am.

Nothing. Going on to Myst area. Arrive 7:16 am. (by my watch, which is probably a little fast). Still pouring rain

Everything very quiet
