[[margin in red]] Brun [[/margin]]
[[margin in red]] Cy [[/margin]]
Only a few inches to a few feet apart from one another. All [[uluet?]]. Then the [[underlined]]Cyanocephala[[/underline]] fly away. Cy apparently follows. But it apparently does not stay with the tanagers long. When I see the [[underlined]] cyanocephala [[/underline]] again a minute or so later, down the road, they Cy seems to be along. In any case, the Brun definitely does [[underline]] not [[/underline]] the tanagers.

[[margin in red]] Brun? [[/margin]]
[[margin in red]] Cy [[/margin]]
A few minutes later, I can hear Cy singing back near where the [[mixed?]] flock was. Songs of usual "Tareceee" components, again apparently proceeded by twitters. Unfortunately can't see bird. Can the Cy and the Brun be singing jointly?????

Very overcast now and light is very bad.

7.59. A single bird flies quite high overhead. Apparently another [[checkmark]] [[underline]]cyanocephala[[/underlined]]. Unnters long twitter in flight. Sounds quite Brun-like. Slow, jerky flight during the twitter.

Whitestart still singing 8:10 am.

NOTE. My altimeter still says 8900, even though the weather today is quite different from yesterday.

See a single [[checkmark]] [[underline]]cyanocephala[[/underlined]] apparently alone. Feeding small fruits dense second growth scrub near farm. Then sings a few phases. More or less "Freece Neece Sreece Speece"
[[left margin note]] Brun [[/left margin note]]

[[margin in red]] Brun [[/margin]]
8:25 See single [[checkmark]] Brun alone. Perched top bamboo thicket, a ft above [[grocered?]]. Utters rapid even twitters. Apprently pure Brun, except that it lacks [[superciliving?]] stripes.

[[margin in red]] Brun [[/margin]]
[[margin in red]] Cy [[/margin]]
There twitters seem to be much more even than Fowlers twitters [[anoceated?]] with Cy [["Tarecce"?]] components earlier this morning.

There are certainly fewer mixed flocks, and/or they are much less conspicuous here today than yesterday. Why? Weather?

Fog coming in 8:37.
