[[margin in red]] Carbo [[/margin]]
Followed by what sounds like R-Zazazaza....phrases. Then silence

[[margin in red]] Carbo? [[/margin]]
More diglossine song? 6:35 "Zawee zawee zaweea" phrases. Coming from same area as other songs. Then silence again

More diglossine song in distance "Ta see" type phrases.

See a single Orange bill alone.

[[margin in red]] "Carbo" [[/margin]]
See a pair of Carbos alone. Feeding in low thick scrub about 10 ft apart. Presumably B pair(in middle of old B area). One, at least, of these birds has definite superciliary stripes (both sides), definitely no trace rufous moustache. Then one Carbo flies up into tree. The other does not follow. No song by either after separation.

Everything very dull 7:00 am. Day is cloudy but fairly warm

[[margin in red]] Carbo? [[/margin]]
Speak of the devil. A few minutes later hear diglossine song from tree into which Carbo flew. "Ta see" phrases with terminal twitter. Then silent again.

[[margin in red]] Carbo [[/margin]]
Catch a glimpse of an A Carbo in hedge. Apparently (?) joined by another. Yes! definite! Lots of [[circled]] R-Twitter[[/circled]]s as "Greetings" and/or Landing Calls (which birds are largely invisible. Then both up into willow. Feeding on trumpet-shaped pink flowers of vine. One supplants the other. Silent Then both disappear. No, both still in willow. Then one flies into Eucalypt. Disappears 7:27 am.

See a single House Wren, lots of Red-caps, another Orange bill, all more or less alone. I.E. not obviously following and/or joining one another-altho sometimes occurring in same bush or tree. [[underlined]]NOTE[/underlined]]: Although there do not seem to be any organized mixed flocks here (among the birds of my groups), the different species are not avoiding one another as seems to be the case near Qui
