"warblers" of the extreme [[underlined]] luteoviridis [[/underlined]] or [[underlined]] Hemispingus frontalis [[/underlined]] type. Head not conspicuously streaked. Crown just a little dusky. Only conspicuous feature on head is yellow superciliary stripe. Whitestarts and/or [[underlined]] cyanocephala [[/underlined]] usually in lead, or, [[underlined]] more correctly [[/underlined]], ahead of the others. But group as a whole does not make any progress until the warbler-Thlypopsis assemblage moves. The [[underlined]] cyanocephala [[/underlined]] and the Whitestarts usually [[underlined]] wait [[/underlined]] for the warbler-[[underlined]] Thlypopsis [[/underlined]] when the latter do not follow immediately. I.E. both the Whitestart [[underlined]] and [[/underlined]] the [[underlined]] cyanocephala [[/underlined]] are playing more or less the same role as the Collared Whitestart in Chiriqui. (Incidentally, is the Collared Whitestart a geographical representative of [[underlined]] melanocephalus? [[/underlined]]) The [[underlined]] cyanocephala [[/underlined]] sing occasionally while with flock. The Orange heads utter a lot of R's from time to time. The other members of the flock are quiet; uttering only CN's - and not too many of those When first seen, all the members of the flock were in trees, 10 - 20 ft above ground, in area which may have been "primary forest". Then gradually move into area of low second-growth interspersed with scattered trees. Here, the Whitestarts and the [[underlined]] cyanocephala [[/underlined]] remain the trees, 10 - 20 ft above ground, while the other warblers and the Orange heads went down into the scrub, usually 2 - 10 ft above ground.
