1st July 1931. A fine afternoon with good sun till 4 pm but then quite dull.
2.30 till 4 pm. field just N. of Glen of the Dwons (in front & below hotel!) Co. WI. = 1 where a fine stump of tree long seen but not before examined.
4 till 5.30 pm. Stumps & fields at foot of Glen of the Downs on Delgany-Kilpedar road, WI. = 2.
[[underlined]] Bombus agrorum [[/underlined]] several [[2 female symbols]] seen. [[underlined]] B. lucorum [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] seen.
[[underlined]] Halicti [[/underlined]] several [[2 female symbols]] seen, like [[underlined]] albipes [[/underlined]].
[[underlined]] Psenulus pallipes [[/underlined]] [[2 male symbols]] & [[2 female symbols]] }
[[underlined]] Tryponylon clavicorums [[/underlined]] [[2 male symbols]]. } Both abundant at the big stump at 1.
