Almost all collected in Parkmore Glen (= the Glenariff of the tourists!) except [[underlined]] Ichneumon [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]] & [[underlined]] Tenthredo [[/underlined]] "arcuatus" [[male symbol]]. which taken on hillside. [[underlined]] Bombus agrorum [[/underlined]] a few [[2 virgin female symbols]] seen (the only Bumble). [[underlined]] Andrena fucata [[/underlined]] a very worn [[female symbol]] on Angelica on hillside [[underlined]] Tenthredopsis [[/underlined]] red [[female symbol]] on grass in glen. [[underlined]] Tenthredella atra [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] in glen. [[underlined]] Pachyprotasis rapae [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] on bramble in glen. Red Braconid like Meteorus in spruce in glen. [[underlined]] Cratichneumon rufifrons [[/underlined]] 2 [[2 female symbols]]. in glen! [[underlined]] Tryphonid [[/underlined]] & several smaller spp; all in glen. Larvae of Pteronidea ? on Hazel & [[underlined]] [[Crocsus?]] [[/underlined]] ? on Goat Willow. [[line across page]] 29th July 1931. A wet morning & no clearance till about 2.30 pm. Then fine & very hot till terrific thunder shower at 4 pm put an end of collecting. One or two [[male symbol]] [[underlined]] Ichneumon [[/underlined]] spp. taken on river bank behind town; rest of ichneumonidae taken in glen before thunder came. [[underlined]] Pimpla [[/underlined]] "flavicornis" ? [[male symbol]]. Tryphon sp. [[female symbol]] with "auricular" scrobes! [[underlined]] Cratichneumon [[/underlined]] ? [[underlined]] annulator [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]]. Ichneumon sp. 2 [[2 male symbols]] large & I. sp. smaller [[male symbol]] (see above) [[underlined]] Aspilota compressa [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]]. (AWS. On return journey C. to Larne some small hymenoptera taken in car. These all labelled Carnlough also but on back of label "In motor" as well. One small Phygadeuonid like [[male symbol]] of sp. taken on N. Ball, DU, on 15-11.31. Rest are Braconids, Chalcids or Proctotrupids. [[/side note]] [[underlined]] Tenthredo [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]] & [[female symbol]] in cop. taken. [[underlined]] Athalia cordata [[/underlined]] [[male symbol]]. [[underlined]] Stromboceros delicatulus [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]]. Larvae of [[underlined]] Craesus [[/underlined]] ? on [[underlined]] Salix cinerea [[/underlined]] (shiny leaves).
