Bohernabreena & lower Glenasmole (as far as the upper dam, Co. Du. 
Beat some ivy blossom, still out, above Mrs. Doyle's & around fallen blocks of calcrete. [[underlined]] Dacnusa [[/underlined]]  [[2 female symbols] frequent. 
[[underlined]] Stenomacrus ventralis [[/underlined]] ? 1 [[female symbol]] 
No [[underlined]] Vespa [[/underlined]] & no other hymenoptera seen.

27th Dec. 1931. A fine day, nearly all sunny, with N.W. wind (very strong N. of Bray Hd. : practically none at Greystones & along S. side of Head). 
Left car at Greystones & walked over Bray Head to Bray, Co. WI. , with George and Hugh. 
Many flies on seaweed at high tide mark; a few beetles collected for O'Mahony; one dead [[underlined]] Ena obscura [[underlined]] shell shaken out of dead grass at foot of cliffs S. of cutting in rock near entrance to last tunnel on ry. which may have fallen down cliff or been thrown up by sea; but no hymenoptera seen.
