3.0 till 5.0 PM. Oak wood, E. of upper lodge & road to Delgany, Bellevue, Co. WI.
Most insects beaten from oak, but one or two taken with net & three or four taken in main estate near the Alder swamp where on 23/8/1931 I took the Dipteran [[underlined]] Oxycera fallenii [[/underlined]] (none seen this day!).
[[underlined]] Bombus lapidarius [[/underlined]] 1 fresh [[female symbol]] reported by George!
[[underlined]] B. agrorum [[/underlined]] frequent; one melanic [[male symbol]] taken.
[No other aculeates seen!]
[[underlined]] Dicaelotus [[/underlined]] ? very small [[female symbol]] with reddish abd.

Pezomachus rufulus ? 4 [[2 female symbols]], two with red, two with black heads, beaten out of oak
